The Puigsagordi hill is where the Via Ferrata Baumes Corcades or Via Ferrata of Centelles, is situated in Centelles (Osona). It offers views of the Guilleries-Collsacabra and Oriental Pyrenees to the north, the Montseny mountain and the entire Vic plain to the front, and the Bert Cliffs to the south.
Via Ferrata Baumes Corcades is very well equipped and consists of different sections: a vertical section where you climb to the top of Quicarell, a 69m Nepalese bridge that will test us (the bridge is optional), a large flank through the small cavities named Baumes Corcades and finally a series of very athletic stretches with overhang (also optional).This Via Ferrata requires strength and endurance, making it suitable for both experienced climbers and beginners looking to take on a more difficult challenge. The most challenging stages, nevertheless, are optional.
The Via Ferrata of Centelles is a 10-minute drive from Vic and a 45-minute drive from Barcelona. It can be reached by train (Renfe R3), albeit it takes 45 minutes to walk from the train station to the via Ferrata. One of the closest via Ferratas to Barcelona is Baumes Corcades!
