The tour begins in the morning with a drive to Wadi Bani Khalid, one of Oman's largest and most stunning wadis. After arriving at the magnificent wadi, a short stroll of about 10 to 15 minutes (walking shoes are required) will bring you to sparkling, blue, clear water pools with a depth of 9 meters, ideal for a leisurely swim or a sunbathe.
We continue on from Wadi Bani Khalid to the beautiful Wahiba Sands Desert, which is 12,500 square kilometers in size. These are also referred to as Al Sharqiya Sands, formerly known as "The Wahiba Sands" in Oman. The Bani Wahiba tribe, which is split between the northern and southern Governorates in the Eastern Region, gave the region its name. A line running 180 km (110 mi) north to south and 80 km (50 mi) east to west defines the area. Enjoy the golden sands, the desert, and dune-bashing with our knowledgeable guide.
