Transfer from Kigali to Volcanoes National Park on the first day.
Your day will begin with a visit to the genocide memorial site after 8:30 am when our guide and driver picks you up from your hotel in Kigali. After that, set out on a two-hour drive to Musanze, Rwanda's second-largest town, which has the stunning Virunga Mountains as its backdrop. You will stop by the Twin Lakes of Burera and Ruhondo after you get in Musanze. These magnificent twin lakes of Bulera and Ruhondo, as well as its surrounding swamp, Rugezi, are wonderful locations for bird viewing since they are calm, picturesque, and attractive. Additionally, the Rugezi Swamp is one of Rwanda's top seven Important Bird Areas (IBAs). You will go to the Musanze local market and the Dian Fossey museum in the evening.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park
After an early breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters with your packed lunch so that you may receive a briefing on how to behave around the gorillas.
The next step is going into the bush to look for gorillas, which might take 2 to 6 hours, depending on how the gorillas are moving around in the rainforest.
Meet the gorillas and spend no more than an hour with them.

Day 3: Transfer from Volcanoes National Park to Akagera National Park
After breakfast, you will travel through Kigali to get from Volcanoes National Park to Akagera National Park. When we get to the park, we'll head to our lodging.
Afterwards, we take a boat tour on Lake Ihema to see hippos and crocodiles in the water or along the shoreline. We eat lunch beforehand.

Day 4: Full Day Game Drives in Akagera National Park:
Start your game drives in an open-roofed vehicle after an early breakfast. In this area, a full-day game drive gives you the chance to see a wide range of wildlife, such as elephants, buffaloes, hippos, lions, Masai giraffes, gazelles, impalas, baboons, oribi, Butchel's zebra, topi, bush babies, leopards, and bushbuck. After lunch, go on a game drive in the evening. After dinner, go back to your lodge.
Day 5: Transfer from Akagera National Park to Kigali:
Have breakfast and then enjoy a morning game drive, we shall return to Kigali and you will
check in at the lodge or be dropped at the airport for your departure flight.
