For your convenience, a pick-up service is offered throughout Kigali city, including to and from the airport. Gahanga local market, Uzuri K&Y workshop for sandals made in Rwanda, and Akagera; the river dividing Kigali from the Eastern district and which will pass through Akagera National Park between Rwanda and Tanzania are all included in the city sightseeing. This river carries on into Victoria Lake before branching off to become the Nile River. The city tour begins at Rebero with a view of the Kigali Convention Center in the distance and continues to Kigali Heights, one of the city's modern shopping and entertainment districts, the city's car-free zone, the Kigali Genocide Memorial, and the Ubumwe Grande Hotel's rooftop bar for a cool afternoon beverage.
Itinerary:
- Pick-ups (Kigali International Airport included)
- Briefing, departure and head to Gahanga local market
- Uzuri K&Y workshop for sandals (Not currently available due to Covid-19 restrictions)
- Akagera river which separates Kigali city from the Eastern province
- Rebero, with the view of the central Kigali city and Kigali Conventional Centre in the horizon
- Kigali Heights, one of the modern Kigali city shopping and entertainment centre and the visit of Uzuri K&Y showroom
- Lunch, walking through Kigali car-free zone and drive to Kigali Genocide Memorial
- Kigali Genocide Memorial
- Ubumwe Grande Hotel rooftop bar for a refreshing afternoon coffee, tea or a local drink of choice
- De-briefing, end of Kigali City Sightseeing and drop-off
Need to know before you go
What to bring with you:
- Shoes-Sneakers or any other comfortable shoes
- Sun hat and sunglasses just in case the weather requires
Please note:
- Every first and last sunday of a month, 07h00-10h00. The tour goes on but we avoid the blocked roads
- Uzuri K&Y sandal workshop: Not open on sundays, public holidays and last saturdays of a month

Free cancellation policy up to 48 hours before the start of the activity.

Pick-up anywhere in Kalgari (to be agreed upon after confirmation of the booking)
