Get your sneakers on and discover a booming city while throwing in a little exercise. This tour is perfect for new visitors looking to explore it all.
We meet at a convenient metro station at 11:00 a.m. (or at a time best for you), where our local guide gives you a map of our planned itinerary. Then it’s time to put your legs to work! During our pleasant, 8-10 km (5-6 mile) run, we move at about six minutes/km to make sure there’s plenty of time to appreciate the views. After all, we are in one of the most dynamic destinations in the world. Once the capital of a great empire, Madrid is as impressive as its history.
In the El Retiro Park, we discover a unique mixture of monuments and gardens, with 15,000 trees – including the oldest tree in Madrid, standing proudly for 400 years. We visit the Glass Palace, a pavilion from the 19th century made for housing exotic flora and a fascinating example of cast-iron architecture.
During our two-hour run, we move alongside the Riviera of the Manzanares river, through the central “Gate of the Sun” (the Puerta del Sol square), the historic La Latina neighborhood, and much more. Around the occasional corner, we find paths to the most charming secrets tourists rarely get to see. Your guide makes sure you see the best of ‘his’ city.

You can cancel up to 48 hours in advance with 100% reimbursement. There is no reimbursement for later cancellations.
In case of cancellation from our side due to bad weather, we will return your payment in full.
