For the most immersive safari experience, this tour takes you to some of the best spots of this park's beautiful natural oasis. You won't have to worry about anything throughout your trip because all meals, lodging, activities, and entrance are included, so all you have to do is relax and enjoy the scenery.
Day 1:
Your tour begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel or apartment in and around Kampala or Entebbe. On your route to the park in Nakasongola town, pick up a packed breakfast from one of the area's famed cafes. Arrive at the park in the middle of the morning for a 45-minute climb to the top of Murchison Falls, where you can expect to get soaked. Get to your lodgings, check in, and have a bite to eat. Drive to the boat departure point and board a 2-hour boat ride to the bottom of the falls along the Nile's banks. Enjoy an evening game drive if you aren't too exhausted after the early morning and the activities thus far.
Day 2:
On Day 2, go on a sunrise game drive and then board the ferry to the park's southern section. On Day 2, guests who choose the 3-day/2-night option can sleep late and go on an all-morning game drive, then rest or go on an evening game drive. On the way back to Kampala, stop for lunch and sample some of the local staple delicacies. Take a picturesque trip back to Kampala, stopping at various roadside shops to sample seasonal fruits and converse with local merchants. In the late afternoon, return to Kampala or Entebbe.
