The MS Symra is a comfortable fishing boat originally built specifically for Lofotfisket, and she is certified for 38 passengers. She is protected by the Norwegian Directorate for Cultural Heritage. You will receive professional guidance from our crew during the trip, and experience a taste of how Lofotfisket takes place through stories and anecdotes accompanying the activities on board. No experience necessary to enjoy this trip. Group outings on request all year!

Catch, clean, and cook your own fish for dinner. Four hours of sea fishing with a line wheel is included in our winter fishing.
Lofoten fishing varies tremendously depending on the season. We catch skrei (Barents cod) during the usual Lofoten season, which runs from late February until mid-April. The MS Symra is a historic 39-foot fishing cutter that dates back to 1917 and offers a truly authentic experience.
Once you've boarded, we'll show you around the fishing tools and equipment on board. Because there are ten fishing stations on board, our guests should anticipate to share them during the trip. But don't worry; by the time we return to port, we anticipate you to be completely happy. And what's the catch? We teach you to take care of it on board, and of course it is yours to keep.
