This all-day tour is a great way to explore what the Arenal area has to offer! There is so much to do, and this day will be packed with different activites, so you can get the full experience.
We'll meet you in the foyer of your hotel to begin this incredible adventure. Once your reservation is confirmed, your exact pick-up time will be confirmed on your itinerary. The day begins with a pleasant stroll across the Arenal Hanging Bridges, a 250-hectare protected area comprised of primary rainforest with an abundance of ecological richness. Photographs of the view or wildlife can be taken in this lovely location. This hike concludes with a tropical fruit snack.
After a 30-minute picturesque journey, it's time to visit the famous La Fortuna Waterfall, which is a must-see. Whether you plan to swim or not, this 246-foot-tall waterfall cascading from the mountain's heart is a sight to behold. Before you begin the 498-step down to the swimming hole, an observation platform provides a fantastic view from the top. Your guide will lead you through the steps and keep an eye on your possessions while you swim. If you intend to swim, you must carry a towel with you. After a refreshing swim in the crystal blue water, you'll journey back up the 498 stairs at your own time. Dry clothes can be put on in clean changing rooms.
A fresh and tasty typical lunch will be waiting for you at an outdoor private farm in the countryside, allowing you to get a real taste of Costa Rican cuisine and our popular "casado," which translates to "married," and consists of rice, beans, salad, picadillo, your choice of meat (chicken, beef, fish, or pork), and fried sweet plantain. There is always a vegetarian alternative. We will arrive at Arenal Volcano, a world-famous volcano, after a 20-minute journey.
Despite the fact that it has been visible from afar all day, we will be taking a 2-hour hike at his base and through old lava flows, which will allow us to see spectacular views and learn valuable information and history from our local guide. Due to the unexpected gases and steep terrain, walking to the crater is prohibited; there isn't even a trail there. Therefore, you'll be at the base of the volcano, overlooking the gigantic mountain and enjoying the rain forest at its base.
Eco Termales is great for a relaxing get-away. The natural pools will bring you closer to nature and provide you with a calming experience. The natural volcanic hot springs have five pools with temperatures ranging from 99 to 106 degrees Fahrenheit (37 to 41 degrees Celsius). To ensure that each person has the opportunity to discover complete relaxation and inner peace while revitalizing both your mind and body, admission is limited to no more than 100 people. Dinner is included at Eco Termales, the time for dinner can be coordinated upon arrival, it can be 5:00pm, 6:00pm, 7:00pm, or 8:00pm.
This extraordinary day is accomplished, leaving a very good taste of Arenal wonders and everlasting memories. We will drop you off back at your hotel.
