If you are returning outside of business hours, you will need to take a taxi to your next point. There is no additional charge to use our shuttle. However, charges apply for taking a taxi. Our opening hours are 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Cancellation

If the customer does not cancel their booking at the latest 24 hours before the tour starts and does not show up, we reserve 100% of the total amount of the paid tour; customer is not entitled to any refund. In case the booking is cancelled at the latest 24 hours before the tour starts, no cancellation fee will be applied.

Your campervan, daily itinerary, and activities - are all carefully selected by our CampEasy team. In 8 days (7 nights), you encounter around 2000 km and 48 stops.

Our high-quality CampEasy camper vans are comfortable and safe and specially made for traveling around Iceland. When in our office, our agents will guide you through every detail regarding utilizing the equipment and camper's features so you can operate it with ease. This vacation package includes the best fitting camper - our signature Easy Clever 4X4 X automatic, the "eXperienced" version of our 3-person, Easy Clever campervan. It is fully fitted and comes with all the bells and whistles but has some mileage on it and minor wear and tear. 

The Easy Clever X takes you so much further with the larger tires, raised chassis, and a 4X4 drive. It also comes equipped with a mounted spare tire on the back for easy access.  Like with all our campers, the Easy Clever X comes outfitted with all the equipment you need for an extended road trip around or into the highlands of Iceland. This campervan ensures that you will be able to reach and see all that you desire on your adventure. The Easy Clever X is insulated with our signature Full Insulation approach, which makes camping comfortable throughout all the seasons and temperatures.

Itinerary:

Day 1: Southwest to Selfoss

CampEasy office - Southwest - to Selfoss (Distance: 206 km, 12 stops)

Our included shuttle service will pick you up from the airport or your place of stay in Keflavik and bring you to our CampEasy office, located in Selvík 5 Reykjanesbær. Here, we will set up your journey itinerary, introduce you to the camper and its facilities and personalize the Easy Guide tablet. While waiting for all of that or in case of the early morning – we have hot coffee drinks to cheer you up!

During the first day, you will visit a few main Reykjanes peninsula attractions while heading towards Selfoss. In the afternoon, you'll spend some time visiting the fishing town Grindavík and you'll get a chance to check out the active volcano. At 5:30 PM, you will be having a 4-Course Meal with a Taste of History in Ingólfsskáli Viking Restaurant. After that, you'll visit Selfoss - the center of commerce, farming, horticulture, and small industries in South Iceland. Finally, you will be heading towards your campsite, where you should be around 9 PM.

Day 2: South to Vík

South – Sólheimasandur Plane Wreck - Vík - to Kirkjubæjarklaustur (Distance: 257 km, 10 stops)

You'll start your day at 8 AM and you'll chase the most iconic waterfalls in the South of Iceland, visit the glacier, Black Sand Beach, and its signature sightseeing. At 4:00 PM you'll meet unique Icelandic horse breed and try horseback riding for the whole hour. After the tour, you will have a chance to spend some time in Vík – an unusual seaside settlement with no harbor, the only of its kind in the whole country. On your way to the campsite, you will also pass by Kirkjubærklaustur, a village that only has 500 inhabitants. Around 8 PM you should reach your campsite.

Day 3: Vatnajökull National Park

Vatnajökull Glacier - to Eastfjords (Distance: 393 km, 7 stops)

Be prepared for some early activities near your campsite on your third day. At 9:30 AM you'll start the Skaftafell glacier hike and walk on top of the Falljökull outlet which is part of the Vatnajökull glacier. After that, you'll continue driving Route 1 and enjoy awaiting Southeast attractions – Diamond Beach, fjords, and much more! You will also be able to visit Djúpivogur - a beautiful small town on the edge of Berufjörður. Your campsite should be reached around 8:30 PM.

Day 4: North East & Lake Mývatn

Exploring North East and Dettifoss (Distance: 238 km, 6 stops)

Hit the road around 9 AM and start your day by visiting Egilsstaðir – the largest town in East Iceland. After that, you'll continue with Route 1, making stops in between some waterfalls. At 3:30 PM you will start your geothermal bathing adventure in Mývatn Nature Baths. After that, check out Mývatn lake which is known for its high biological activity, and reach your campsite around 7:30 PM.

Day 5: Húsavík & Akureyri

Lake Mývatn - Húsavík - Whale Safari & Puffins - Akureyri (Distance: 187 km, 6 stops)

Rise and shine before 9 AM, because this day you will be heading to Húsavík, also known as Whale Capital of Iceland. Take some time to check this town and try to find the sites where the Eurovision movie The Story of Fire Saga was filmed. Later, continue heading to the largest town in the North – Akureyri. At 3:00 PM you will go to Husky farm closer to Akureyri for a hike with the cutest husky company! After the activity, spend the rest of the day in Akureyri and reach the campsite around 8 PM.

Day 6: Þingvellir National Park

Glaumbær & Horseback riding (Distance: 475 km, 7 stops)

Leave Akureyri early and get ready to learn more about Iceland's history – at 11:00 AM you will have a tour in 1238: The Battle of Iceland VR museum. You will get there by staying on Route 1 for around two hours. After that, visit Blönduós – largest urban area of Húnaflói. Further on the road, there will be few more attractions visited. Stop at the port town Akranes and head to the famous and unique Þingvellir National Park. You should reach your campsite later this day – around 10 PM.

 Day 7: The Golden Circle & Reykjavík

West Iceland - Golden Circle & snorkeling in Silfra - Reykjavík (Distance: 202 km, 8 stops)

Start your day at 9:45 AM and get ready for the final activity - Silfra Snorkeling between the continents. The activity will start at 10 AM, so make sure to be at the meeting point a bit earlier. After the tour, visit the iconic Golden Circle route where you will visit the most popular attractions of this famous touristic route. Later, take a hike to reach the beautiful hot river which is hidden in the mountain valleys. Reach Reykjavík around 7 PM and discover the world’s most northerly capital and Europe’s most westerly capital! Your planned arrival at the campsite will be around 9:30 PM.

Day 8: Departure

Reykjavík - CampEasy Office (Distance: 53 km, 2 stops)

It's the day to say thank you and goodbye! Of course – it depends on you, if you are saying bye only to us or flying back home right away. Anyways, start your morning by going back to Reykjanes Peninsula, walk around downtown Keflavík. We will meet you back at our office at 10 AM and we hope that you will share with us your best vacation package experience!

After arriving back at our office, get some warm drinks, check on the souvenirs or just share your memories from your trip with us! Our shuttle service is available to bring you to the airport or to your stay in Keflavik if requested.
