Our high-quality CampEasy camper vans are comfortable and safe and specially made for traveling around Iceland. When in our office, our agents will guide you through every detail regarding utilizing the equipment and camper's features so you can operate it with ease. This vacation package includes the best fitting camper - our signature Easy Clever 4X4 X automatic, the "eXperienced" version of our 3-person, Easy Clever campervan. It is fully fitted and comes with all the bells and whistles but has some mileage on it and minor wear and tear. 

The Easy Clever X takes you so much further with the larger tires, raised chassis, and a 4X4 drive. It also comes equipped with a mounted spare tire on the back for easy access. Like with all our campers, the Easy Clever X comes outfitted with all the equipment you need for an extended road trip around or into the highlands of Iceland. This campervan ensures that you will be able to reach and see all that you desire on your adventure. The Easy Clever X is insulated with our signature Full Insulation approach, which makes camping comfortable throughout all the seasons and temperatures.

Itinerary:

Day 1 : Borgarfjördur and Krauma Spa

CampEasy office - Borganes to Reykholt (Distance: 205 km, 6 stops)

Our included shuttle service will pick you up from the airport or your place of stay in Keflavik and bring you to our CampEasy office, located in Selvík 5 Reykjanesbær. Here, we set up your journey itinerary, introduce you to the camper and its facilities and personalize the Easy Guide tablet. While waiting for all of that or in case of the early morning – we have hot coffee drinks to cheer you up!

On your first day, we recommend you visiting The Settlement Center, an interesting museum dedicated to two exhibitions on Icelandic history in Borgarnes, before driving to Borgarfjördur fjord. After driving through farm fields where horses can be spotted, you stop at two beautiful waterfalls (Hraunfoss and Barnafoss) before reaching the geothermal spa, Krauma, spa at 18.00 PM. (Night in Hverinn Campsite)

Day 2 : Snæfellsnes Peninsula and Volcanic Cave

CampEasy office - West to Arnarstapi (Distance: 232 km, 9 stops)

Today, you visit the Snæfellsnes peninsula and all the sites that it has offer! You first stop at Ytri Tunga, a beach known as a gathering spot of seals, before heading to Búðarkirkja church and its beautiful surroundings, which is among the most photographed area of the country. You also visit Djúpalónssandur, the black pebble beach and Gatklettur (hole in the rock formation) through which you have an incredible view on the Snæfellsjökull glacier. Be ready to be amazed at 14.00 PM when you visit the Vatnshellir Cave, an 8,000 year-old lava tube and cave situated 35 meters below the surface. (Night on Snæfellsnes peninsula)

Day 3 : Stykkishólmur and Eldborg Crater (Distance: 293 km, 8 stops)

You complete the Snæfellsnes peninsula visit today before heading to Thingvellir National Park. You might to stop at Helgafell mountain which makes for a picturesque hike. Later, you visit Kirkjufell waterfall perched next to Iceland´s most photographed mountain, Kirkjufjall. On your way south, make sure to stop by Eldborg crater, a 197-foot extinct volcanic crater, which is accessible all year round. (Night at Thingvellir Campsite)

Day 4 : Golden Circle (Distance: 256 km, 8 stops)

Today we are switching things up and you start your day by a relaxing moment in the warm waters of the Fontana baths. Take advantage of the facility and it panoramic view on the lake before driving towards Iceland´s most popular sites, the famous Golden Circle. Should you like to try something different for lunch, we recommend you to visit Friðheimar, a tomato farm, to taste the unique dishes they provide from their fresh tomatoes. Finally end your day with a night at Skógarfoss and the attached campsite.

Day 5 : Vik and The Black Beach (Distance: 258 km, 7 stops)

The Reynisfjara black sandy beach in the winter gives a particular vibe. You experience Icelandic nature in its raw form where the massive waves from the Atlantic Sea smash onto the shores contrasting with the solid cliffs and basalt columns formation. On your way back, you visit the Icelandic Lava Center at 13.00 and before reaching Reykjavik, it's time for an interesting visit at the ice museum & bar, Magic Ice Reykjavik. Finally, you end of the day beautifully with a long and relaxing moment at Sky Lagoon Spa at 19.00. Enjoy the view on the sea from the comfort of the geothermal pool and its 7-ritual program. Day 6 : Departure (Distance: 165 km, 4 stops)

Should you have time before your departure flight, Reykjanesbær peninsula is worth the detour: lava fields, the bridge between the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates and Krisuvik´s geothermal area among others.
