This vacation package is for people who like to travel alone and/or privately. It's ideal for first-time visitors to Iceland or those who want to see the country with their friends or family.
Discover Iceland's most famous roadway of landmarks and take in the gorgeous scenery. The CampEasy team carefully chose your camper, daily program, and activities. In four days, you'll travel 788 kilometers and make 33 stops.
Our high-quality CampEasy camper vans are comfortable and safe and specially made for traveling around Iceland. When in our office, our agents will guide you through every detail regarding utilizing the equipment and camper's features so you can operate it with ease.
This vacation package includes the best fitting camper - our signature Easy Clever 4X4 X automatic, the "eXperienced" version of our 3-person, Easy Clever campervan. It is fully fitted and comes with all the bells and whistles but has some mileage on it and minor wear and tear. The Easy Clever X takes you so much further with the larger tires, raised chassis, and a 4X4 drive. It also comes equipped with a mounted spare tire on the back for easy access. If there was ever a camper made for hunting Northern Lights in Iceland, it is the Easy Clever!
Like with all our campers, the Easy Clever X comes outfitted with all the equipment you need for an extended road trip around or into the highlands of Iceland. This campervan ensures that you will be able to reach and see all that you desire on your adventure. The Easy Clever X is insulated with our signature Full Insulation approach, which makes camping comfortable throughout all the seasons and temperatures.
In this campervan, you will find equipment like thick duvets, cook/kitchenware, compressor fridge, quality stove, charging station, running water, inverter, BBQ + gas, table + two chairs, parking sensors, post-collision braking, park distance control, mobile phone interface and much, much more!
Itinerary:
Day 1 : Reykjanesbær and Geldingardalur Volcano
CampEasy Office - Reykjanes Peninsula – Hveragerði (Distance: 179 km, 13 stops)
Our included shuttle service will pick you up from the airport or your stay in Keflavik and bring you to our CampEasy office, located in Selvík 5 Reykjanesbær. Here, we will set up your journey itinerary, introduce you to the camper and its facilities and personalize the Easy Guide tablet. While waiting for all of that or in case of the early morning – we have hot coffee drinks to cheer you up!
At the beginning of your trip you will see the top attractions of Reykjanes Peninsula. First of them is Bridge Between Continents at Sandvík - a rift between the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates. Another more exciting place is Gunnuhver Hot Spring - Geothermal areas will indeed introduce Iceland to you! If you like hiking, then the Geldingardalur Volcano is a perfect idea. After hiking, you may relax in the world-famous geothermal spa Blue Lagoon (admission is not included in the price due to unknown arrival time). After an eventful day, you reach your campsite in Hveragerði and get some rest to start another adventure.
Day 2 : The Golden Circle and Waterfalls
Hveragerði - Golden Circle – Skógar (Distance: 296 km, 10 stops)
For the second day of your trip, many attractions are prepared for you. Your itinerary takes you to Golden Circle, which the most frequently chosen route. For a good reason, Golden Circle should be on your bucket list. Golden Circle has many hidden breathtaking places. You will see three wonderful waterfalls and a huge volcano crater during this day. In Laugarvatn at 11:45 AM, you will have a chance to taste and see how the Icelandic rye bread is prepared. Next, you will visit Laugarvatn Fontana at 1 PM to take some rest at the geothermal bath. For the night stop, you will stay at Skógar. If you wish, you can visit the nearby waterfall - Skógarfoss - in the evening or morning the next day.
Day 3 : Black sand beach - Reynisfjara and glacier hike
Skógar - Vik - Reykjavík (Distance: 250 km, 5 stops)
On the third day, you'll visit Dyrhólaey, Reynisfjara and Solheimajokull. The last one is a glacier and you will hike on it! Be at the meeting point before 10:00 AM to agree with the guide that you are well prepared for the expedition. In Reykjavik, you can try another attraction: FlyOver Iceland (5:15 PM). Today is your last night in Iceland; get the most from it!
Day 4 : Visit the capital of Iceland – Reykjavik
Skógar - Reykjavik – CampEasy (Distance: 62 km, 5 stops)
Depending on your departure flight, you might be able to visit the capital and see landmarks such as the Perlan, Sun Voyager, Hallgrímskirkja Church, Harpa. Perlan Museum is our suggestion which you can add to your itinerary depending on the departure of your flight (please note that admissions to the Perlan Museum are not included in the price).

- Winter Jacket with removable layers – Waterproof shell and warm thermal layer
- Fleece layer

- Warm polar fleeces, two-layer

- Moisturizer + Lip balm
- Valid credit card and driver's license
- Pack sensibly. There is not a lot of space for luggage in the camper.
- It’s better to have soft bags rather than hard case bags.
- Bring warm clothes with you. We never know what the weather is going to be like.
- Thick socks and boots. Good boots.
- Remember to bring a good mood and a happy smile!
Please be aware that your itinerary may have to be rearranged to better fit your arrival date and time.
Included activities have rules that may apply to you:
- Glacier Hike on Sólheimajökull - the minimum age is 8. No prior experience is needed.
- FlyOver Iceland - children must be at least 102cm

Cancellation
If the customer does not cancel their booking at the latest 24 hours before the tour starts and does not show up, we reserve 100% of the total amount of the paid tour; customer is not entitled to any refund. In case the booking is cancelled at the latest 24 hours before the tour starts, no cancellation fee will be applied.
