First day:
Unless otherwise agreed upon, our journey will begin at 9:00 a.m. from Helsinki city center. The drive from Helsinki takes about 3 hours. We'll have a quick lunch near the Heretty Information Centre and check our backpacks before setting off on the trek in Isojärvi national park.
Our first hike will be approximately 6 kilometers long, and we'll camp at Vahterjärvi for the night. We will put up our tents when we arrive at the campsite, and the guide will show you the finest sites. We can relax by the fire and enjoy the calmness of the evening.
Second day:
Your guides will be awake and cooking breakfast at 8 a.m. in the morning. By the fire, coffee and tea will be prepared for you to get ready for the glorious day ahead! After breakfast, take some time to pack your luggage before we begin our journey for the day.
The second day is approximately 10.6 kilometers long and will take us through a breathtaking scenery, including the tall mossy rock wall with a small cave below, which is one of our favorites. It appears to be an ideal sleeping spot for a bear or forest troll.
During the hike, we'll stop for lunch at a selected campsite. There's not much more to go! Because the walk has numerous ups and downs, we'll take it at a leisurely pace and appreciate our surroundings as we walk, pausing at magnificent viewpoints. We'll put up our tents and rest our feet once we get to the Kuorejärvi campsite. Your guides will have dinner waiting for you as soon as you arrive. Yum!
Third day:
Our morning coffee and breakfast will be prepared just after 8 a.m., and the final trip will be approximately 3 kilometers long. We'll be back in Helsinki around 1-2 p.m with everlasting memories.
