Kayak Sunset Watching in Stockholm
Duration: 3 hours Easy
Why we love this tour
You'll have fun kayaking and enjoy barbecue on a remote island as the sun goes down!
- Kayaking adventure just a couple of minutes away from the Stockholm city center
- Watching the sunset and swimming in the sea
- Delicious diner on an island
- Exploring Stockholm in a new and exciting way
Who wouldn't love having a dinner on a remote island and arriving there by kayak? You won't have to travel far; we're right in the heart of Stockholm, a 10-minute walk from the Hornstull tube station.
Enroll in the experience that will allow you to explore Stockholm from the water while also enjoying a delicious BBQ. What an unique way to begin your evening!
At 18.00, we will depart from Stockholm Lngholmen Island and paddle about one hour before stopping for dinner in a beautiful location. While your guide is grilling the sausages, you can take in the sunset or go for a swim in the sea. Then we'll get back to paddling and return to our starting position.
On the way, you'll pass Stockholm where you'll see the unique colors that the old buildings get when the sun casts this unique Scandinavian light on them. The colors reflect on the water as well, creating a truly unique experience. You're in the city, but it feels like you're out in the nature. Stockholm has a reputation for being a very green city, which is correct. Throughout the summer, trees line the coast, migrating birds flock to the area, and fishermen strive to catch big fish.
This is an excellent trip for a family, a group of friends, a couple, or a single traveler. Like so many other travelers before you, everyone will find joy in kayaking.

What a great experience! We went to a nature reserve in a minivan, hiked through the forest and enjoyed beautiful nature. We spotted many roe deers and hares on the way. Finally, at the end of the tour we were lucky enough to meet a giant moose! Unforgettable moment :). And the guide was amazing! So funny and knowledgable.

Our first kayaking experience and it couldn't be better! Alex was an amazing guide who explained everything well. He also prepared lunch for us on an open fire in the middle of the day (highly appreciated the possibility of a vegan option!). Nature in Sweden is absolutely breathtaking, we enjoyed a full day on water and made a few breaks on little abondoned islands where we jumped into the water for a quick swim and hiked to a little rock for a view. I can only recommend this tour :).
