Why we love this tour
You'll explore the nature surrounding Stockholm and slide on the frozen lakes like a local!
- Swedish meal and cooking on campfire
- Winter wonderland just a couple of minutes from the city center
- New and thrilling way to explore the Swedish nature
- Discovering the best lakes for ice skating

Are you in Stockholm hoping to catch a glimpse of the Scandinavian winter but all you can see is slush in the city center? If that's the case, come along with us as we explore Sweden's winterland just outside of town.
Let's have a look at some of Stockholm's most beautiful frozen lakes between December and March. We can ice skate on those very lakes, which is one of Sweden's most popular winter hobbies. During the season, these lakes provide the cleanest ice, allowing you to skate silently on the lake at your own pace while listening to the sounds of nature. You'll also hear the strange and wonderful sound of your blades sliding across the ice.
Because the ice changes from day to day due to temperature, wind, and precipitation, your guide will take you to the optimum position. All trips begin with a safety briefing to ensure your safety. Then we'll put you through your paces to assess how comfortable you are on skates, before closing with a balance challenge.
Beginner or not, you will be able to experience the unique thrill of sliding through deep lakes at the end of the day. We'll have a lunch break after a few hours of skating, where we'll cook over a wooden fire created by your guide, which is a great way to warm up and regain energy.
If the weather cooperates, we will continue skating on another lake in the afternoon. We'll have a Swedish Fika with a cup of coffee and biscuits at sunset and then we'll return to the car to pack up our belongings before heading back to the city fwith awesome memories.

What a great experience! We went to a nature reserve in a minivan, hiked through the forest and enjoyed beautiful nature. We spotted many roe deers and hares on the way. Finally, at the end of the tour we were lucky enough to meet a giant moose! Unforgettable moment :). And the guide was amazing! So funny and knowledgable.

Our first kayaking experience and it couldn't be better! Alex was an amazing guide who explained everything well. He also prepared lunch for us on an open fire in the middle of the day (highly appreciated the possibility of a vegan option!). Nature in Sweden is absolutely breathtaking, we enjoyed a full day on water and made a few breaks on little abondoned islands where we jumped into the water for a quick swim and hiked to a little rock for a view. I can only recommend this tour :).

We had a fantastic day kayaking, our group were great and our guide was really friendly and helpful. The island we stopped on for food was picturesque and our cooked meal was delicious! If you like water and a fun time, I’d highly recommend this trip, well worth the money!
