Sighting Guarantee
In the observation of cetaceans it becomes difficult to predict which behavior and species will be possible to see. That is why water4fun can only guarantee the sighting of at least one specimen of the cetacean order, and it is not possible to predict which or even the family (whales, dolphins, among others).
In the event that no specimen of the cetacean order is sighted, the customer is entitled to reschedule a second attempt, subject to company availability, totally free of charge, or as a last resort to request a full refund.

The Azores are a true oasis when it comes to cetacean observation!
It is possible to see about 28 different species throughout the year, which represent one third of the cetacean species known worldwide. Our team is well-prepared so that it is possible to observe these magnificent animals. We have the help of a "Watchman" (an element of our team on land), located in a high area. He observes the location of the cetaceans through long-range binoculars and via radio vessels.
In this way, we are able to maintain a cetacean sighting rate above 90%!
The Islet of Cabras is the largest islet in the Azores, located 3.5 nautical miles from the city of Angra do Heroísmo. It is also an important nesting area for several species of fascinating seabirds.
Taking a route similar to an "8" around the islet, between the approximately 120-meter gap that divides the islet, we can observe its volcanic structure and even the marine life through our glass-bottom boat - there is a rich underwater life, from rays to the smallest fish!
There is also a possibility to take a little dip in the blue waters of the islet.
