Bears are dangerous and unpredictable wild animals. Please don’t try to feed them or act like they are pets. In case you encounter one bear in the forest, avoid eye contact, don’t try to run or climb into trees and listen to the forest ranger’s advice.

Firstly, your guide will pick you up from your Brasov hotel in the afternoon.
You'll arrive at the forest ranger's meeting place after a 1-hour 30-minute journey. After a briefing, we'll continue driving into the forested valley for another 5-6 kilometers. We will wait patiently till the bears arrive at the bear hide once you've arrived. Feel free to photograph or film these wild creatures after they've arrived. Your guide will share interesting facts about Romania's fauna, but if you have any questions, please ask. Wild boars and even wolves can be seen near the bear hide on occasion, so being as quiet as possible is essential.
Finally, you will return to your car shortly before dusk and be dropped off at your Brasov lodging by your guide.

This was a quite pleasing experience although it could be better and easier. the office of Neotours is not at the address given but around the corner in a completely different street. Visitors who need to contact Neotours personally will find this worrying. The bear watch itself was good. The guides cannot be faulted for the fact that the bears appeared very late when it was very dark.
