Need to know before you go
This activity runs all year round on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
Start time is 9:00 a.m.
Groups are limited to 8 people.
Minimum age is 12 years.
No prior experience is required, but a decent level of fitness is required.
What to bring? Trekking shoes or sneakers, sweatshirt, jacket, hat, sunscreen, water bottle, and sandwich.
Cancellation
Your booking will become valid after we receive your payment and send you a confirmation email.
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance with 100% reimbursement.
There is no reimbursement for later cancellations. In case of cancellation from our side due to bad weather, we will return your payment in full.

Tenerife's mainland is an adventurous landscape of mountains, caves, and rivers. Take full advantage of this natural playground with an active journey. Join a canyoning trip for a mix of rappelling, trekking, and outdoor exploration.
From the meeting point, your guide drives you up the Tejida Mountain. Once at the top, you receive all your equipment and a safety briefing. Then the fun begins!
Rappel through the canyon as you move around rocks of all shapes and sizes. A few of the mountain's walls are as high as 20 m (66 ft). Along the way, you pass by ancient caves left by the Guanche aboriginals, the first inhabitants of the Canary Islands. You also catch sight of the rare Canary Island dragon tree, the natural symbol of the island.
Experience the variety of Tenerife's landscape, as you travel from a dry, arid environment to a lush, green riverbed. With an inland of such high elevation, the views of the blue Atlantic Ocean may just stop you in your tracks.

Great tour. Good mix of walking and repelling down through the Barranco. Saw the caves and mines. Peaceful, beautiful and remote location. Excellent day, fantastic oppotunity to experience a unique environment. Igor was a superb knowledgeable guide.
