Need to know before you go

Advanced bike tours are only private. This tour runs every day all year long.

The reason why we don’t run advanced group tours is that, based on our experience after riding with thousands of clients, riders have varying levels of fitness and technical skills. This can lead to a loss of quality of the tour.

Prague’s incredible rolling hills and valleys make for a thrilling biking adventure. This physical demanding (but not too technical) route leads us to Uneticky Brewery, one of the country’s best in a 300-year-old building, where a well-deserved Czech meal awaits.

We venture through nice city parks and nature reserves as we ride to the edge of the city. Starting in Petrin Park to take in wonderful views of Prague Castle and Charles Bridge, we head off towards Hvezda Castle in a park formerly used as royal hunting grounds. We cross through forests, a nature reserve, and little villages until we reach the town of Unetice, where the brewery is located.

Uneticky beer is made from raw brewing ingredients of Czech origin, without any substitutes, additives, preservatives, or stabilizers. The brewery’s unwritten law fully complies with the “purity of beer,” known among brewers as “Reinheitsgebot.”

Attached to the brewery is their own restaurant where we taste authentic and delicious Czech dishes, most of which are cooked with local ingredients and their own beer. On weekends you can enjoy a guided tour of the brewery for 50 CZK per person.

If you are really thirsty and would like to end with a few beers, there is the possibility to go back by train. A good beer is a nice excuse for a ride, but you don’t have to be a drinker to enjoy the tour. The brewery has terrific food and non-alcoholic drinks too.

Once we finish enjoying the brewery, we mount our bikes again and enjoy a nice downhill ride along a little stream in a forest called “Silent Valley.” When we come to the Vltava riverbank, we cross the river on a boat and start riding along the riverbanks in the direction of Prague.

Get your adrenaline pumping on the gorgeous trails of this biking adventure. You’ll never forget this true Czech experience, and for the next day, neither will your legs.
