On this active Glacier Walk, you explore the stunning scenery in Skaftafell. The icy giant where you walk is a breathtaking outlet glacier that extends from the mighty Vatnajokull, the largest glacier in Europe. Your adventure starts off with meeting your certified and experienced glacier guide in Skaftafell. Your guide instructs you on how to use the basic and required glacier equipment, like crampons and an ice axe. Once you step onto the ice field, it feels as if you have been transported to a frozen, foreign planet. As you walk through a wonderland of glacial ice sculptures, ice ridges and deep crevasses on the glacier, you witness stunning landscapes as far as the eye can see. Don’t miss the opportunity to see this glacial wonderland in person.

It was a Really nice adventure. We thought that we will reach the glacier cave more but anyway it is worth to visit this amazing place! Also our guide Andrea was really good! He shared with us a lot of facts and was all the time helpful and we felt with him really comfortable.
