Participants should be able to swim confidently.
Starting time depends on the tide schedules. Low tide is better for the power snorkeling.

Las Canteras beach, in Las Palmas, the capital of Gran Canaria, is one of the best urban beaches in Europe. It stands out thanks to the many amenities available in the area, along with its location close to the city center.
But what visitors find in Las Canteras is much more than a beautiful beach with shopping opportunities. In fact, locals and tourists mainly visit to explore the fantastic nature, to stroll along or relax on the soft golden sand, and to swim in the calm waters. In addition to this special combination, the sea is also home to diverse marine life, making it a hot spot for snorkeling.
Our experience isn’t your typical snorkeling activity. Using our sea scooters, you can explore the underwater world of Las Canteras in a unique way. The scooter works as a diver propulsion vehicle, which you hold with your hands to dive down much faster than you would without it. This adds a fair amount of adrenaline to the activity.
The action starts with your certified instructor delivering a briefing about safety and equipment. He explains how to control the sea scooter, and how to take the most of your snorkeling session. After that, you gear up and jump in the water. Your instructor is with you at all times to help you with anything you may need.
During your activity, you may encounter rays, turtles, eels, and many other marine species. After the session ends, you can take your time to relax and enjoy everything Las Canteras has to offer.
