Flights operate before sunrise or sunset, from April 1st to October 31st.

Pickup times depend on the season and your location.

Sunrise flight pickup: 4:30 - 6:30 am

Sunset flight pickup: 4:00 - 7:00 pm

Balloon rides require at least 4 people. If you book as fewer, you will join another group.

If the weather conditions are unsuitable for flying, the trip will be canceled and refunded.

Each passenger must be in a good physical condition to participate in a balloon flight.

We cannot fly any passenger who has had a recent surgery, injuries, hip, back or knee problems, has any health concerns, physical limitations, is/or may be pregnant or has severe auditory restrictions.

Passengers under the influence of alcohol or other substances may not fly.

If you are concerned with health or safety issues, please consult with your physician or ask us to discuss the individual situation.

We recommend dressing accordingly (skirts, suits or white clothing is not recommended). Please wear solid shoes (no slippers, no high heels), long pants, a light jacket or a sweatshirt. The temperature in the air is about the same as it is on the ground.

Your booking will become valid after we receive your payment and send you a confirmation email.

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance with 100% reimbursement.

There is no reimbursement for later cancellations. In case of cancellation from our side due to bad weather, we will return your payment in full.

From a convenient hotel pickup, a shuttle transports you 40 minutes outside of Prague to the town of Benesov. At almost 1,000 years old, Benesov has survived a historical series of invasions by Hussites, Swedes, and Poles, to name a few. Your flight takes off just outside this charming settlement.

Observe your guide as he fires up the large colorful balloon. Once you climb into the basket, science takes care of the rest. The hot air in the balloon brings you higher and higher into the sky. From here, the incredible views begin.

Admire the orange roofs of Benesov, typical of the buildings in the Czech Republic. The farmlands, forests, and lakes spread out beyond to meet the horizon, where the glowing sun either rises or lowers depending on the time of your trip. Whether in morning or evening, the flight is only made more magical by the sunlight painting every surface.

The guide brings you right over Chateau Konopiste. First established in the 13th century as a Gothic castle, this grand structure passed from many aristocratic owners before landing in the possession of Franz Ferdinand, the heir to the Austrian throne, in the 1880s. After many renovations, the castle took on its current baroque style and enormous rose garden. After Ferdinand's assassination in 1914, Konopiste was owned by the Czechoslovak government during WWI before becoming a German SS headquarters in WWII.

Fly over this gorgeous chateau on your 60-80 minute journey through the air. Upon landing, you receive refreshments and a certificate of your balloon flight. You then take the shuttle back to Prague with a head full of sensational views.
