In the east of Gran Canaria, a camera should always be nearby. Nature captivates at the El Bufadero geyser and the old charm of the San Francisco quarter of Telde draws you in. Learn how to craft your best nature and urban photography shots in a private photography lesson. Take your first steps as a new photographer or expand and refine your skills.
Your expert instructor has over 20 years of photography experience, in which he has taught, showed exhibitions, and received awards. He picks you up from your accommodation and you head to the east of the island.
No other site in Gran Canaria tests your shutter as much as El Bufadero geyser. This volcanic tube of basalt rocks blasts water up into the air, creating a fantastic aquatic spectacle. Work with the instructor to properly set your camera's shutter speed, ISO, and more to get a crisp, clear shot.
Practice your urban photography as you walk the old streets of the San Francisco quarter in the town of Telde. Founded in 1351 and serving as Gran Canaria's first capital, Telde's narrow lanes and hidden alleys create a captivating atmosphere. Learn how to find a fresh perspective by composing images from the 19th-century buildings and even older churches.
If time permits, visit Barranco de Vacas (Cows' Ravine) where years of erosion have carved out an orange-tinted rocky wonderland. Follow winding walls of porous volcanic rock and get lost photographing this maze of canyons.
Sharpen your photography skills, learn with an expert, and have a photo adventure. Discover Gran Canaria's nature and history gems hiding on the east side of the island with a camera in hand.
