Legend says demons fell in love with Cagliari and decided to conquer the gulf. Sadly for them - and good for all humankind - God came to protect the place, sending the evil away. During his defeat, Lucifer fell down from his horse and his saddle flew off, hitting and shaping a headland. Nowadays, that headland is known as one of the most iconic landmarks of this area of Sardinia: Sella del Diavolo (Devil’s saddle).
This fantastic myth gives an idea of how extraordinary this paddle boarding tour is. Your guide leads you along the mesmerizing blue water of Poetto beach, golden shores, and dramatic cliffs like Sella del Diavolo. We follow the tide and the breeze to ensure an easy ride.
If you are new to the sport, your professional instructor goes through the basics of equipment and the necessary skills for your first go. Once you’re comfortable, the beautiful areas around Poetto are yours to explore.
After about one hour in the sea, you stop for a snorkeling session in the clear waters of the Mediterranean. You observe beautiful coral formations and different species of fish swimming around you.
As part of this trip, your guide takes photos of you to register every single moment of your adventure. You will need them to show your friends the stunning place that demons once wanted to conquer.
