The turquoise Tenerife Sea is one of the best places to try scuba diving for the first time. The calm marine currents and all year-round agreeable water temperature make it easy for beginners to dive. The underwater visibility is also impressive, allowing explorers to see up to 30 meters (100 ft) ahead.
This is the easiest way to try scuba diving, and no previous experience is required. You receive all the necessary equipment and an experienced dive instructor that will teach you the basic skills required for diving.
The activity starts at 9 a.m. with a 1.5-hour theoretical lesson. During this time, your instructor teaches you all the basics for safe and fun diving. You also learn about the marine species you may find in the sea.
After, you head to La Caleta beach, just 50 meters away from the headquarters. Now is when you put on your equipment and test out scuba diving in Tenerife’s ocean. All the necessary gear is provided, such as a wetsuit, fins, air tank, and more.
For the next 40 minutes, you explore the underwater world in a depth of up to 10 m (33 ft). Explore volcanic rock formations and colorful coral with several marine species swimming around, such as stingrays, turtles, groupers, barracudas, and nudibranchs.
At the end of the day, you have a full taste of scuba diving. Your instructor takes photos and videos of the experience, but you know the memory of the breathing in the peaceful sea will stay with you forever.
Need to know before you go
Each group runs with a minimum of 2 and maximum of 4 people.
Minimum age to participate is 10 years old.
Departure time: Between 8:00 – 9:00 am
Return time: Between 4:00 – 5:00 pm

Bathroom and showers are located in the dive center.
You need to have basic swim skills and be comfortable in the water.
If you are on continuous medication, please consult a doctor.
No flying or visiting Teide within 18 hours of completing the program.
Cancellation
Your booking will become valid after we receive your payment and send you a confirmation email.
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance with 100% reimbursement. We cannot reimburse later cancellations.
In case of cancellation from our side for the reason of unfavorable weather conditions including waves, we will agree on a different time or return your full payment.
