Duration: 4 hours Easy Great for Families
Why we love this tour
Snorkel in shimmering waters above thriving sea life and relax on the smooth sand of Tenerife’s exquisite beaches. This is how you do an island vacation.
- Admire a flourishing marine ecosystem
- Snorkel in clear waters of superb visibility
- Relax on smooth sandy beaches
- Enjoy with friends and family
The waters surrounding Tenerife provide a home for more than 400 species of fish. Snorkel through this populated ecosystem and relax on spectacular beaches for a colorful discovery under the sea.
As the Canary Island’s largest island, Tenerife hosts several exceptional snorkeling locations. Based on the weather and wave conditions on the day of your booking, your guide chooses the best spot to explore. After being picked up at your hotel, your guide drives you to the day’s destination, offering information about the island and its nature along the way.
Once you receive your snorkel equipment, your guide explains the safest way to swim, for both you and the environment. As you flip your fins along the water, take in the flurry of life below you. Float along the surface or dive down to the rock formations from past volcanic explosions.
As you swim, you may encounter rays, turtles, eels, or even Canary Island’s abundant inhabitant, the parrotfish. The water's excellent visibility allows you to take in intricate details of the sea life around you, like a tiny pink sea anemone or the blue spots on a puffer fish.
If you would like to join your family or friends on the trip but would prefer not to snorkel, you can relax on the beach and wave as you sunbathe. After the activity, everyone relaxes on the beach to take in the endless blue ocean.
Discover the magical underwater world of Tenerife through clear waters. You may not count all 400 species of fish, but after snorkeling through the waters you might come very close.

The Forest is beautiful and the marked trail the guides chose was a beginner to intermediate hike and perfect for our group. The guides were very personable. Lunch was delicious. The visitors center has trail maps so if you want to hike after the excursion and have your own transportation from the visitors center to your hotel it is possible to do this.
